Gail Williams

I am a Toronto artist, but consider Northern Ontario my spiritual home. For many years I worked as a radiation therapist, and now that I work as a full time artist, I can see how the years of looking at X-rays and scans has informed the art I make. My paintings are unconventional in content and process. There are layers upon layers of texture, colour and stories. You will find the familiar and the challenging, but also the joyful and the contemplative in my abstract pieces created with acrylic and collage. If you value fun, courage and vulnerability in art like I do, you will find my art intriguing. All paintings are available for virtual or safe distanced viewing in the GTA.
